HealthServe Australia (HSA) is an International Health Development agency which raises funds and enters programs to meet the needs for health services and education in resource and infrastructure poor settings in Australia and developing countries.

HSA was established in 2003 as a separate entity from the Christian Medical and Dental Fellowship of Australia and has supported many health development projects in Australasian, South East Asian, African and Eastern European countries. In 2023 HSA has successfully attained the Public Benevolent Institution status and is building a vision to expand the ministry to meet the growing needs in the global communities it serves.

The Executive Officer is responsible for the management of all aspects of HSA’s affairs. You will ensure that HSA is adequately resourced and structured to achieve its objectives and to realise its strategic plan and ministry growth through its newly acquired PBI status. You will lead a small and highly dedicated team of staff, drive projects and programs aimed at growing the reach and impact of HSA, develop deep and ongoing relationships with donors and other stakeholders, facilitate and encourage prayer support, and represent HSA to Australian Christians, churches and the NGO community.

The successful candidate will be a mature Christian leader, building upon experience from previous senior roles in the health, not for profit, international development, church agency sectors.

You will possess integrity, be highly organized, have sound financial acumen, and a thorough understanding of compliance and risk management. You will also have a solid understanding of cross-cultural ministry. Your knowledge and understanding of the Not-for-Profit sector and interdenominational Christian missions in Australia and overseas will be highly regarded.
